I loved this movie so much as a kid that I wanted to pay homage to it with the C.O.W.-Boys.

To this day it's still my favorite T-Rex in a dinosaur movie. The T-Rex from Dinosaurus! is a close second.

sweeet, man i really need to get on top of reading some of the comics.

ive never heard of that movie, but it looks/sounds kind of similar to The Valley of the Gwangi. I love anything that has to do with O'Brien or Harryhausen.

-->> .. this would also be the ' EXTINCTION ' story - arc.

In effect anyway..

.. the final one before Archie's sorry arse made the bad move to dump the 'Boys from their roster.

It also deviated into a unique direction some original stories for the gang.

"The Beast of Hollow Mountain is a 1956 scifi/horror western about an American cowboy living in Mexico who discovers his missing cattle are being preyed upon by a carnivorous dinosaur."

-->> ** WELL GOLLY !!

.. i know what next movie is goin' on my ' DVD collection ' want - list.

I also see the connection to the ' Boys here too.

Too logical.

Yes, travis the movie is based on an idea by Willis O'Brien. O'Brien's life is a sad tale.

Those are bootleg copies tokka, just so you know.
No official release on DVD yet unfortunately.
